Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh
city arrival {D}
Pick upon your arrival in Tan Son Nhat
airport, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh
city tour {B/L}
Breakfast, city tour around the
cosmopolitan Saigon and Cu Chi tunnels. Lunch en route. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh
city – Mekong Delta – Le Jarai Cruise {B/L/D}
Breakfast, transfer to Mekong delta,
embark on Le Jarai Cruise. Lunch on board. Cruise through Mekong River to
communal temple, traditional matt weaving village, rural life areas. Disembark
at late afternoon, back to Ho Chi Minh for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh –
Hue {B/L}
Breakfast, take short flight to Hue.
Lunch in Hue. Afternoon, visit the former imperial city. Overnight in hotel.
Day 5: Hue {B/L/D}
Breakfast, visit the tombs of Khai
Dinh, Minh Mang, Tu Duc emperors, Thien Mu pagoda. Lunch en route. Dinner and
overnight in hote.
Day 6: Hue – Hoi An

Breakfast, transfer to Hoi An in car.
Lunch in Hoi An. Afternoon, visit the ancient town, beaches, architectures,
etc. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An –
Danang {B/L}
Breakfast, visit My Son sanctuary.
Lunch en route. Transfer to Danang for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Danang – Hanoi

Breakfast, transfer to airport for
domestic fly to Hanoi. Lunch in Hanoi. Afternoon, city tour around Hoan Kiem
lake, Ngoc Son temple, Old Quarter, etc. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi – Sapa

Breakfast, transfer to visit Vietnam
ethnology museum, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Lunch. Free until evening for dinner
and overnight train to Sapa.
Day 10: Sapa {B/L}
Breakfast, transfer from railway
station to Sapa town. Lunch in Sapa. Afternoon, visit Ham Rong Mountain, Sapa
Market. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 11: Sapa {B/L}
Breakfast, transfer to visit Ta Van,
Cat Cat villages. Lunch en route. Late afternoon, transfer to railway station
for overnight train to Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi –
Halong Bay {B/L/D}
Breakfast around railway station,
transfer to Halong Bay in a 3.5 hour car. Embark on board. Lunch on
board. Afternoon, visit some grottoes and caves. Swimming in the middle of the
Bay. Evening activities with dinner, squid angling, karaoke, etc. Overnight on
board.
Day 13: Halong Bay –
Hanoi {B/L}
Breakfast, visit the fishing village.
Lunch on board. Disembark and back to Hanoi on car. Overnight in hotel in
Hanoi.
Day 14: Hanoi – Luang
Prabang {B/L}
Breakfast, transfer to airport for
flight to Luang Prabang. Lunch in Luang Prabang. Aternoon visit Luang Prabang
town, Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Mao, National Museum, Royal Palace, etc. Overnight
in Luang Prabang.
Day 15: Luang Prabang

Breakfast, transfer to visit morning
market, cruise on Ou River to visit Pak Ou Buddha Caves. Lunch en route. Back
to Luang Prabang for overnight.
Day 16: Luang Prabang
departure {B}
Breakfast, transfer to airport for
departure flight.
